A DORSET branch of the Royal British Legion has been praised for selling poppies.

At the county annual conference, Shaftesbury Branch of the Royal British Legion was awarded the Purbeck Trophy which is the award for the ‘highest total poppy collection for the branch size’ and for the best collections over five years.

Congratulations are due to the committee, members and, in particular, the very generous public of Shaftesbury who raised the grand total of £24,000 in the year 2011/2012.

We are offering Sandtex buy 3 for £69, Cuprinol Garden Shades buy 3 for £59 and Blackfriars Wood Preservative buy 3 for £49. Lots more offers available in store; come and see what you can save!
